Get Engaged

Responsible sport means bringing your environmental and social values to life at your event.

By teaming up with the Council for Responsible Sport to start on the path toward certification, you’ll get expert guidance based on some of the sport industry’s very best examples of sport done right.

The Council for Responsible Sport guidance and certification program leads organizers through a process to host events responsibly from start to finish. Responsible sport happens through collaborative efforts to divert waste through recycling and compost collection, use renewable energy, source regional resources, offer free access to sport for youth and underprivileged families, and provide direct local economic impact to host cities and regions.

With a strong record of success working with event organizers, we’ll help you pursue a sustainable ‘triple bottom-line’—financial, environmental and social. We all know that the environment and the people in our communities have great inherent value, even if there is not a dollar or profit attached in economic terms. By putting the values of social justice and environmental stewardship alongside economic impact when making decisions, we balance the scales towards a more sustainable way of life.
